Made some new friends and have invited them to look us up when they come over to OZ.

While I was away we have had some interest in the stand up paddle boards and the new trampoline for sale. These things are huge all around the world, get on board (pun intended) http://www.skituberiders.com/something_different.html or bounce in for a http://www.skituberiders.com/trampoline.html then don't forget the http://www.skituberiders.com/trampoline_accessories.html.

STR and MX Nationals

Welcome to the Blog,
We have been unable to get to the river of late, footy season and Home Reno's are the culprits. So we have spent a lot of time on the background stuff of the website.

We now have a you tube page you can go here and check out our videos plus the other stuff we are into.

Our sponsored MOTO rider Damo Hill has had a couple of title feeder events piloting the YZ 450 to podium finishes and really starting to get to know the beast. He continues to impress on the YZ 250 two stroker against the much fancied 250 4 bangers. He has topped the podium a couple of times and is now getting used to the fire breathing punch of a Factory like Cisco's Engine.

This weekend on the 21st  he will line line up in the MX Nationals Pro Lites class despite being eligible for the under 19 class, at just 16 years of age he keen to live the moment to gauge where he is at. We are right behind the young gun as wish him all the best, just finishing the grueling Motos will be an achievement as the track will no doubt become as rough as it always does. With the under 19's getting the best of the conditions (the best being 1 or 2 laps on the stopper at best for us novices) the pro lites in the middle then the big fourfities last, bear this in mind the last lap will be the roughest of the moto and that will be the first lap of the next moto!! With Motocross the track is never the same, lap by lap , moto by moto, every line every jump, every whoop.....That's why we love it...."MOTOCROSS NOT BECAUSE ITS EASY BUT BECAUSE ITS HARD", in this world you truly are only as good as your bad days.

What does Damo do to relax when hes not riding Moto? Hes riding these form Ski Tube Riders.
See you at the next blog.

Long Weekend

Welcome to the blog,
I so pumped for the weekend three days of water sports fun. Will be riding our favorite tubes and boards, can't wait to fire up Nobby 231 and feel that big V8 rumble, get some fast tunes playing and go hard. we will be putting the doable LULU through its paces and setting up some sort of scoring system. Big Mable is the stalwart of the tubing range its been around for years, and produced so much fun for a lot of families. Of course its been copied by a few different manufactures but the sportsstuff  brand is the original. SPORTSSTUFF SUPER MABLE Inflatable TubeSPORTSSTUFF WET-N-WILD FLYER Inflatable Tube
There is also many different styles now , not just the hang on and prey. We want to see tubing become one of the activities that is a preferred water sport not just something that any one can do, and the doable range will certainly do that, so get out there and participate. We have got all that you need, accessories too.

Our Moto rider heads out to the first round of the State titles this weekend so we wish him well, had some great practice days with all the rain and itching to go! Thank you catch you later. Ride.

International shipping

Welcome to the blog,
Good to see a comment from the public. The international shipping is coming along still loading products on and sorting out the rates and carrier. There are a couple of carriers to deal with and reading through all the terms and conditions is a tough thing!. However it has to be done. What I am trying to do is set it up so we make just the costs of the shipping back, we are not looking to make money from the freight. I think at this point we have to provide a good service so it looks like we will go with the Fed Ex as the brand is world wide and well known, it might cost a bit more but we think that will be worth it. For your piece of mind and ours.

You will see on the web site when you click on a product there will be a green and black notice indicating that international shipping is available on this product. Then you add to cart and go to checkout and put in your details, the drop down box with the countries listed will indicate if it ships to your country. Then you just follow the instructions  and  it will work out the shipping cost and add it to the total.  So head onto the site and cruise around, there are so pretty trick tubes on there.

On another note Damo pulled his first win in seniors last Saturday night, riding the 250 two stroke. He finished the night in second overall and also had a couple of hit outs on the big 450, securing two second places.

That's all for now check out the site and like us, tell your friends and ride those tubes!

Thursday 23 February 2012

International Shipping

Welcome to the Blog.
International supplier is all hooked up, I am in the process of loading the products onto the site so please feel free to go and look around. We will, have some new tubes on there also. We have our Links page up and running so check that out too.

Our Moto sponsored rider is racing this weekend so we will not be on the river, but in the dirt instead, good luck to Damo and check here for some photos of the racing.

More later....

Riders at heart

Welcome to the Blog,
Here at skituberiders.com we are riders at heart. True to that we can't ride our tubes everyday, we can't even get out there on the water every weekend, so we have to do something else on the weekends. We used to ride Motocross/Enduro's but we don't anymore due to a few too many broken bones. The next best thing to ride that's not on water but still on the dirt is a Mountain bike! So since we don't ride Moto's any more we stepped up from the training Mountain bike to a cross country Mountain bike ready for racing. Now getting to the point it was our first race on Sunday round three of the Summer series and man did that open up our eyes, these boys are fit and fast. What an experience, some great trails great support and a well run event that was on time, and this is only the warm up to the title events. We will be doing some more of them.

A little news on the international supplier, the red tape is done and we should have an announcement in the next week regarding the supply to the rest of the world, where that will be and what products will be up on the web site ASAP.

Also our rider in Motocross Damon Hill has now got his gear sorted for the up coming season, we have just finished the design for the bikes graphics, and Damo is currently testing the bike after the suspension , engine and exhaust modifications. we will post some pics as soon as we have them.

Finally I was surfing the web and found this web site Extreme Skipping, sort gives you the impression of skipping like a Boxer would skip, but it has a twist.

Remember at skituberiders.com "we don't just sell we ride em"

Monday 6 February 2012

Where is that supplier

Welcome to the blog,
We are still waiting on the red tape for the international supplier, man I am hanging to get our hands on some of these new tubes. we are keen as mustard to start putting these things through their paces to give them a rating. We are still working on that process but have a few ideas.

When testing we want to rate them for all types of users, novices to experts, yougins to the more mature riders. Because we know there are some gnarly young little dudes out there and some big timid dudes as well. If we rated them on an extreme rating we would have to define what extreme was. That could depend on the tube itself, the speed, the water and many other factors. We would also be looking at comfort, or ergonomics, how they feel and ride.Lastly we would want to rate the overall product its impact, the wow factor and of cource the construction of them. So as you can see it's going to be a challenge to make this worth while, stay in touch with the progress, and don't forget if your in the USA get your tubes today help us to help team Ampd enterprises/skituberiders.com Moto race this year cause "we don't just sell em we ride em".

Finally we are happy to say we have now started a link page so check that out at the site also.

Progress Report

Welcome to our blog,
We are still waiting on finalizing our international supplier ..... the red tape guys, not our supplier, told us a max of 21 days so it's getting close! Can't wait to get them up on the site and selling around the globe. We are also working to set up some good information to aid our readers in the enjoyment of tube riding.

We are riders above all else we ride boards too, and we now sponsor a Motocross rider locally who is going to compete in the State Motocross titles amongst other events this year. He will be riding a Yamaha YZ 450 fuel injected beast! His name is Damon Hill and he is the current 250cc 15yr state champion in 2011.

He comes on board with a winning attitude and a desire to be at the top of his game. He is up in the senior ranks as a 16year old, which is very young compared to most junior to senior transition, they breed them tough in Motocross. The official sponsorship deal sees skituberiders.com supply the bike as the major part of the deal. So we will need your help hit that site and help us to help "Damo" to the top of his game. We will be posting here, Facebook and twitter the progress of our rider, any news or results and some pictures too!

Check out these tubes the sumo, gyro, outlaw,viper....too many to mention Motocross on the water, check em out seriously... see you next and please stay tuned and visit regularly.

Ski tube riders International

Welcome to the blog,
We have almost finalized the supply of ski tubes and the range of towables that we sell throughout the USA to an international market, should be no more than 20 days away. This is fantastic news for us as we believe the world should enjoy these affordable tubes too! We have been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen so here's to the rest of the world getting on to the skituberiders.com freight train.
We are also working on setting up an evaluation of our tubes through our knowledge, and our fellow ski tube riders knowledge, this will help you to evaluate the purchase you make based on what we have researched. No other ski tube dedicated site is offering this "service". We are also going to set up a tips and advice, care and stowage section for our riders. Exciting times ahead for all!!! After all its all about fun and its no fun if you get the wrong tube or don't know how to care for it.
OK thats all for this blog enjoy your weekend where ever you are from all of us at skituberiders.com/contact_us.html  and remember "we don't just sell em we ride em"

We don't just sell we ride em

Welcome to the blog... last blog I promised the back flipping Knee board rider... to hide his identity from the hoards of fans that will no doubt be flocking to his door, not to mention the sponsors... we'l call him "Hollywood" well here it is I hope you enjoyed it as much as the Cornell, the Candy Man, Magilla, The Storemen and the "Unit" did.

Once again you see I have used aliases to save the identity and the fame that will come from the exploits of this motley bunch.
Also the the photos of the new doables, it's harder than you think... not many have tried the single one and stayed on for a period of time. That should fire someone up!!
